New Muslins

Worlds End shop Westwood

Over the summer we managed to do an in-house shoot with models Jamie & Freya to show the new items coming up in the Worlds End range. These photographs will be featuring over the next few months.
We will start with the new muslin shirts available in the shop now.

Two new prints, ‘Destroy’ & ‘Too Fast to Live, Too Young to Die’ have been produced.
The ‘Destroy’ is not the original 1977 print but is the new version created during the ‘Politicians are Criminals’ campaign. The same word ‘Destroy’ is placed onto a chess board representing the stupid games played by corporations, banks & politicians & what they are guilty of.

‘Too Fast to Live, Too Young to Die’ was the name given to the second incarnation of the Kings Road shop in 1973. The artwork, originally from ‘Biker’ culture, referred to the death in a car crash of film icon James Dean in 1955 at the age of 24 & describes the paradox of dying before maturity because youth is immature & behaves dangerously…& yet wishing for more because it was so exciting & had so much potential.

This time the print also has the words ‘Stop Climate Change’. This fits as the human race is acting rather immaturely & climate change will cause a lot of death because of this. Will mankind live long enough to mature?
